BECOME A BREEDER PARTNER OF COMAGRI?

People wishing to become a partner breeder of COMAGRI SA can refer to the diagram prepared for those wanting to become agricultural partners.

They are first invited to sign a formal recording of acceptance of the offer made by COMAGRI SA. They will then have to create a cooperative whose main activity will be the breeding of broilers.

The cooperatives thus created will have to face the challenge of equipping themselves with livestock production infrastructure such as henhouses and equipment. The company advises them to proceed with the construction of the breeding building within the limits of the means at their disposal (the building can be made of temporary materials, such as planks or beaten- earth).

Subsequently, the contract signed between COMAGRI SA and these cooperatives, may serve as a pledge to national banking institutions such as microfinance or the bank of SMEs in the context of obtaining loans intended to expand and modernize these production infrastructure.

COMAGRI SA intends to support the union of said cooperatives, in their approach with MINEPIA (Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries) and MINEPAT (Ministry of the Economy, Planning and Regional development), intended to benefit them:

• funding provided for by the State of Cameroon as part of the fight against poverty in rural areas,
• funding available from international structures engaged in the fight against poverty in rural areas such as IFAD (International Fund for Agricultural Development).
